I'm new in this list, so hello you all! Name's Adrian and I'm from
Spain.
I started using Zope three months ago and I'm very satisfied with it.
It's running at home on an old computer I rescued from going to the
thrash: Pentium 120 MHz, 64 MB of RAM, 7 GB of hard disk. It's running
on OpenBSD 3.6 behind Apache 1.3.29 with virtual hosts. Requests are
redirected from Apache to Zope using mod_rewrite. Although it's a
modest machine, it performs quite well -- if you want to take a look
surf to http://foobar.homeunix.org
Of course, I have COREBlog installed, and I think it's darn good weblog
product. I started using version 1.0 and I have updated to 1.1 lately.
I'm using Ecto (http://ecto.kung-foo.tv/) with the MovableType API. I
tried to upload images directly from Ecto, but Zope returned a URL not
valid error. I took a look after COREBlog's code, and saw that there's
some code for the "newMediaObject" call, but it's commented out.
Is there any good reason for this to be commented (and thus disabled)?
Is image upload really possible with COREBlog? What I'm doing in the
meantime is manual image upload from the ZMI, and then edit posts to
add the appropiate <img src="..."/> tags, but this is somewhat clumsy.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
