Subject: [COREblog-en] Coreblog2 0.9b Cookie

Hi there. I am using Zope 2.8.8 and Plone 2.1.3
with Coreblog2 0.9b.
The cookie is not working.
It does not remember the info about "author" and "email", and i have already 
tried to reset the cookie info.
Tried with different browsers.

Any suggetion where to start?

And by the way.
I have installed CacheFu and the requests/sec
in my plone site increase a 10x except the 
blog.
Do i have to add any special cache parameters into
CacheFu to make it work with CoreBlog?
(tests done with ab)

future? Been on the Plone site and notice there are no stable releases as
yet. Also wondering if the issue with disappearing posts was solved?

Just wondering where the setting is in CoreBlog2 to set up a mobile blog. I
can't see it anywhere.

" Edit some property for receiving email - host,user name,password in *setting
tab*." Where is this?

Also

"You need to access a URL to receive email periodically. It appears in
bottom of setting form."

I can't see this either.

What would be the email address to send a mobile blog entry to?

I have written in the past about this but will ask again.
A GREAT feature would be to disable the 'password' feature of a moblog 
email. I use a Treo650 for emailing photos taken with the camera. that 
system uses MMS for delivery of the photo and text. The image is always 
the first thing in the body of the message and so no way to have the 
secret password show up first.

I had changed the source to ignore that password and that worked fine. 
The coreblog instance was for my own use anyway so no one even knew 
about that email address to use.

I want to start using coreblog again but can't remember how I did that. 
If that could be added as an option, great!! If not, could someone point 
me in the right direction (file name and approx line numbers to look at) 
I would appreciate it.

yeah you are right. You may as well not have a password anyway because it's
insecure to have the password sent through by email. If anyone was intent on
hacking in and found the email address, they could do it no problem.

Good point. I will bash away at it again. just thought I would drop it 
out there...might be useful for someone on a future release.
I will see what I come up with and post it back here.

I just installed on my work site recently. Had been using for a long 
time on a personal site and liked it. Now I need to play with CSS stuff 
as droping our header and footer around coreblog it wreaks havoc on the 
look of the blog. Lots of work ahead...bit should be worth it.

Hi. I've just installed COREblog 09b today and have found a couple
issues. Most (all?) have been mentioned in the mailing list archives,
but I don't understand Plone well enough to follow the instructions.

 1. The blogs posts are truncated around 120 characters.
 2. Links are stripped out of the post (ie. the <a> tags are not
    preserved). Interestingly, <img> tags ARE preserved.

I've seen a couple mails that mention adding/changing dtml methods,
but they're not clear what files to change. Can someone please explain
this so that a complete beginner can understand? :)

important.. how to move to the top?

As i have understood it, it's always strictly chronological.

I have changed the published time in the ZMI to achieve the right order.

Hi there, thanks for keep coding CoreBlog and fixing bugs.
I have tried to download the nightlybuild but it seems that there is  
nothing inside.
By the way, does the bug correction fixes the issue i told you  
before, that when removing coreblog2 from my plonesite all plone  
content disappeared? And only being login with owner account i could  
see the site content.
